When God Says No to My Study Plan (Part 1)

God is so great. God is so good.
This week I am really happy because one of resolutions came to the answer. It is about my postgraduate study.

It's been a long waiting since 4 years ago, I applied to abroad universities for admission.
University of Newcastle Upon Tyne, British (2009-2010)
Delft University of Technology, Netherlands (2009-2010)
TU Dortmund, German (2011)
Tsinghua University, P.R China (2012)
But God say NO to them all.

You know, readers, in my position, it's quite difficult to survive my fight to look for the suit university. The general truth is most of mentioned universities, they sent me an invitation and received me! But I have committed to use my saving for entire my study cost. Nevertheless, I got answer NO from all scholarships I've applied.

The most thing I really thanksgiving is, when I surrender all to my God's deliverance. I know even it's top and best university, it's not best for my life.

My parents kept asking me when I would go continuing my postgraduate, while it had been more than 2 years from I graduated my bachelor. So I decide to give my final answer to my parents: if in the fourth year, I still got no university to my afford, I'll quit my ideas to it.

Since 2011 and 2012, I put my study in my resolution. I believe when my leader said these years is year of increase. Not only for church, but also the people who planted in it. I kept God's promises for the best, yes and amen.

After struggling for Tsinghua (last university abroad), and got no scholarships, I thought I would quit to school anymore. But the day after I received that notification, Holy Spirit said strongly in my morning silent time: I will use you, not in your marketplace position, but also in your study. I asked how? He answered: City Church, you are in it! You will grow up in this city I'll define you to be. Take here.
I couldn't hold my tears suddenly when I got the refresh vision from Holy Spirit. Yes, use me God. My life is about You. My study is to glorify You. If Your will is best, be it unto me.
And I got the announcement that my bachelor university will open registration for postgraduate study. I told you, readers, it's not my option for four years, but after the encounter with Holy Spirit and these experiences, I tried. USU is the best chosen and top university outside Java universities. But for four years, I thought the abroad university would improve my ability, it's about me, not about God. And the story is different in God's eyes. What is not the option for me, what is God's option for me, that's happened in my life.

After followed admission test for 2 days, I surrender the result to God. If this is Your lead, I will go.
And this Monday, 27th August 2012, I passed! So happy after reaching the end of my commitment to end the idea, He changes something new at the END. Oh I don't know what will happen, when I quit earlier.
